What we collect
Tickerdoodlehas no accounts, no sign-in, and no server-side database. Your game progress, streak, and statistics are stored only in your browser's localStorage — we never see them, and they never leave your device unless you use the Share button, which copies text to your clipboard for you to post yourself.
Cookies & advertising
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and — where permitted — to personalize the ads you see.
You can see and adjust the advertising data Google holds about you at Google Ad Settings, learn more about how Google uses information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, or opt out of personalized advertising industry-wide at aboutads.info/choices. Visitors in the UK/EEA and applicable US states are shown a consent choice before any personalized-ads cookie is set.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how many people play Tickerdoodleand which parts of the game get used. Plausible doesn't use cookies, doesn't collect or store any personal data or IP addresses, and doesn't track you across other websites — it counts visits and a handful of gameplay events (like starting or finishing a puzzle) in aggregate, with nothing tied back to you individually. You can read Plausible's own policy at plausible.io/data-policy.
Children's privacy
Tickerdoodle is a general-audience stock-market trivia game not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change — for example, when advertising or analytics go live — we'll update this page and its "last updated" date.
